About the founder

Rama Krishnan

Ramki is a Mechanical Engineer from PSG Tech, Coimbatore, India and an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India.
He believed anyone, anywhere, anytime should be able to cook great food, with great ease. 15 years ago, he sold his software company to focus full-time on his passion. One page cookbooks happened first. OPOS followed a decade later. He is now a consultant, columnist
and CEO of Pizza Republic, Bhojan Express and OPOS Kitchen, all built on OPOS principles.
His work has revolutionised food preparation across thousands of homes and restaurants, making food tastier, healthier, cleaner and greener. He has been awarded ‘The Pride of Tamilnadu’ 2018 for his innovations in food through the One Pot One Shot cooking method.
He still holds the record for cooking solo a 10 course marriage feast for 500 people in 3 hours, using OPOS techniques. He is the author of the international bestseller  5 minute magic, the first OPOS Cookbook.
His articles have been published in several Indian newspapers and regional magazines. He has conducted numerous corporate demos and TV Shows.
